Lord, let us shine:
It’s hard to discern sometimes with popular culture what the full intent is. Generally the territory is full of light commentary, obfuscating lyrics and irony. Yet it offers more than endless entertainment, music for one intrinsically becomes part of our fabric, for as T.S. Eliot said: “You are the music while it lasts.”
…to add i would say that there is a huge field of music, both sacred and profane that creates this bridge between definite creativity and the undefinable world of “spirit’.
